You guys are constantly asking me how I juggle everything that’s on my plate, while keeping myself together…being a busy mom on the go, who works a corporate job, has a full-time blogging business as well, 4 young active and involved children, a husband, a household to keep up, friends, and family, on top of trying to look half way presentable each day lol, WHEW, it can be A LOT most days! It’s not always easy, I don’t always execute all my responsibilities flawlessly, but there are a few mom/beauty hacks that save me on a lot of days. I’ve been on the hunt for not only a hairstyle, but hair products that are conducive for my busy life. I need hassle-free, low maintenance, quick and easy hairstyles and products that aid in efficiency when it comes to getting ready each day. Lately, you’ll see me rocking my wake-up-and-go beachy waves that require just a little fluffing out in the morning and no heat and hardly any products. The style is perfect for this busy season of life I’m currently in, and the Pantene Waterless Collection helps me stretch my go-to style as long as I can in between wash days.
Yall, my hair wash process is at least a 48-hour minimum process. Yep, you read that right. 48 hours! Mainly because I despise blow drying my hair. So I typically wash my hair, let it air dry for a full day to ensure it’s dry from root to ends, then I’ll use my wave wand to give me the beachy wave look I like and rock that style for a few (maybe more than a few lol) days. So as you can imagine, I try to stretch my in-between-wash day hairstyles for as long as possible. These two new Pantene products have been a lifesaver and I have them to thank/credit for all the compliments you guys are constantly giving me on my consistently great hair days.
Let’s start with the Pantene Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam. Just when my waves are starting to fall a little flat, oily, and I need a quick reset when I don’t have time for a 48-hour wash day, the Dry Shampoo Foam is my go-to. It leaves my hair clean and soft as air and isn’t like the other typical dry shampoos I’ve tried that, leave my hair feeling rough, dry, and dull looking after use. Pantene’s Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam is a lusciously whipped cleansing cloud that dissolves oil and refreshes my style, with no washing required. The Dry Shampoo Foam contains pro-vitamin B5 and orchid flower water in the foam, which work to release clumped hair. It also contains tapioca from the cassava root to absorb excess oil from roots and scalp. It does not contain drying alcohols, sulfates, or parabens.
To use, all I do is dispense a small amount into my fingertips, section my hair into small groups, apply the dry shampoo foam to my dry hair at the roots and rub it in, then I brush it out and style it how I want it. Super simple, right? But after using it my hair looks like I just completed wash day!
The Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam pairs well with the other product I love from the Pantene Waterless Collection, which is the Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist. The Dry Conditioner Mist is like the love child of a leave-in conditioner and a styling spray. The super-fine mist evenly distributes its nourishing ingredients on my frizzy, tangled, or just plain unruly hair, delivering 24-hour frizz protection between washes. It’s also great for a quick retouch when my hair needs a boost of silky smoothness. The Dry Conditioner Mist restores hair with deeply nourishing Omega-9 lipids that fully absorb into hair for beautifully balanced curls from root to tip.
Using the Dry Conditioner Mist is very easy to do. I hold the can 6-8 inches away from my hair for optimal coverage and spray from the mid-lengths and downward on my dry hair and that’s it!
Dry Shampoo Foam hydrates and refreshes unruly roots, while the Dry Conditioner Mist restores my hair, infusing it with nourishing Omega-9 lipids. My hair is left refreshed and conditioned, not coated, in as little as 2 minutes for the two-step combo.
