We’re PREGNANT! Baby Williams coming Feb 2019!

WE’RE PREGNANT!!! Yes, you read that right. Baby Williams Number 4 is due February 2019. Yes, Channing is just 15months old. Yes, I was just pregnant a little over a year ago. Yes, it hasn’t even been a year since I stopped breastfeeding. Yes, we already have three kids. What we’re we thinking you ask? WE WEREN’T…LOL.

Sigh, if I’m completely transparent, the past few weeks have been pretty tough…physically & emotionally. This was definitely a surprise and not a planned pregnancy. We thought we were doing everything in our power (naturally) to prevent an unplanned and unwanted pregnancy, at least at the current moment. Neither my husband or I were opposed to possibly adding just one more kiddo to our crew but if we were, we would’ve wanted it to be in another year or two. Our plan was to focus on saving and paying off ALL of our debt in 2019. It’s crazy how we can have all these plans but God has a different plan for our lives. I swear I feel like God ALWAYS has me in seasons and situations where I have to be completely dependent on Him. Just when I’m getting into cruise control He always throws in something to keep things interesting, ha!

Needless to say, the past few weeks have been filled with EXTREME exhaustion, nausea, a few tears, me asking “why right now Lord?”, and a lot of doubt…wondering how everything will work out. We don’t have any local help which leaves us no option but to put out kids in daycare around 3 months. If you’re a mom, you already know childcare expenses are absolutely ridiculous. Two babies in daycare in our area is almost $30,000 a year. No big deal! (Sarcasm) Just the thought of a two-year-old and newborn scares me, as far as my patience and energy. So I’m sure you can see why my initial reaction would be to freak out.

BUT GOD!…I don’t want to be ungrateful. I know babies are a blessing from God. I know there’s women out there that would give an arm and a leg to be able to carry just one child, let alone have 3 healthy pregnancies. Our first two children are only 10 months apart (we are a blended family if you didn’t know), and they play so well together. I’m grateful that Channing will have a little play buddy close to her age now as well. I’m popping these babies out and getting it out of the way while I’m still young, so that’s a plus too lol. God has NEVER failed me or left me out in the wilderness with no protection plan. He has always worked out everything in my life for my good and I know this situation is no different. This baby in my womb has a purpose and I know for a fact he/she will be a huge blessing to our family. I’m so grateful to God for seeing me as fit to carry these precious blessings and to have to honor of raising them. I don’t take that lightly.

I know it won’t be a walk in the park but I CAN DO IT! I’m made for this. God equipped me and Bryan for this. I’m actually excited to be able to sit back and see how He’s going to work all of this out. I can’t wait to say “it was nobody but God!” Please keep our family in your prayers for the next few months. We’ll have our plates full but our hearts will be even fuller. Thanks for all the love you guys continuously show my family. And I have to send a huge shout out to my husband who has been amazing these past few weeks. He’s pretty much taken over all the household duties and tended to the kids as I sleep my life away. Glad to say my energy is slowing coming back as I enter my second trimester.

….with all that said, THIS IS THE LAST ONE. For real this time! This mama is getting fixed!

Feel free to leave any two kids under two advice, double stroller recommendations, nanny recommendations, and anything you can think of below. Thanks in advance!

As always…love you all,

Courtney N. Williams

I won’t have two under two as my youngest is 3 but my goodness, I felt every word of this. This was like complete deja vu for me. We used natural prevention and ended up getting a surprise in Feb (due in Oct). It took my entire first trimester for me to get out of my feelings and I felt so ungrateful most days. But someone our biggest blessings show up when we didn’t know we needed them. Congratulations mama, issa baby boom for sure! LOL

Rest when you can. Don’t beat your self up over house work. Stay active and checkout the uppa baby vista for a double stroller.

Hi. I admire your strength and beauty. I came across your page on Instagram and have been following you since. I think you have a beautiful family and pray my blended family can become as stress free as yours seems to be. I just wanted to say that I understand the fear, anxiety, and nervousness about two kids under two. I have a 13 month old now and my husband and I are expecting our second child together in two months! It freaks me out but I know God has a special plan for our family. My husband and I too made all these plans of when we were going to have our next child but God laughed at us and said no. I just want to send you some encouragement that you are not alone. We just have to trust in our Father. The stroller I got recommended to me was the Graco double stroller, the one where you can change it into 12 configurations from one child sitting and another child standing to both children sitting. It looked manageable to me (not too bulky) so that’s the one I think I am investing in. Congratulations and I pray that the rest of your pregnancy is a healthy one.

You’re so right! We got this girl! And thanks so much for the recommendation. I actually wanted a graco brand so that hopefully I can snap the infant graco carseat we already have in it. I will check that out!

    Congrats Congrats !!!
It don’t make no damn sense how expensive child care is, it’s utterly ridiculous. My son is almost three and his center
Just raised the price again. So now I am considering taking a
Pay cut to work at a center just for a discount ! They really need to lower the prices! I wish you all the very best! Babies are such blessings! And i know this will all work out for you!

I mean RIDICULOUS! UGH and they know parents will pay it to have their child in nice place because child care is just something you don’t go cheap on smh. The sacrifices we have to make as mothers…sigh! Thanks so much for the encouragement honey!

Courtney I’m actually in the same situation. However I’m pregnant with my fifth and final. My last baby hasn’t even turned a year old yet, but will be by the time I deliver this one. I remember when I found out I cried. I was totally surprised and so was my husband! Babies are a blessing though and God knew exactly what he was doing! Great post love! Congratulations!!
